September 23, 2024 Candle Making (Participants from DOTR - CLDD Training Center) — the CLDD Training Center hosted a specialized candle-making workshop, welcoming participants from the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTR). This engaging session aimed to provide attendees with hands-on experience in crafting beautiful, aromatic candles while emphasizing the importance of sustainability and creativity. Led by experienced trainers, the workshop offered a blend of technical instruction and artistic exploration .
The day began with an introduction to the different types of wax, wicks, and fragrance oils used in candle making. Participants learned about the various methods of melting and pouring wax, as well as tips for achieving the perfect scent throw and candle design.
