The Cooperatives and Livelihood Development Department, in partnership with DTI Laguna, conducted a seminar on How to Effectively Participate in Trade Fairs and Consumer Education last 2 August 2024 at the CLDD Training Center, Mercado de Calamba, Brgy. 5, Calamba City.
Ms. Mariane Calongcalong and Ms. Alma Arenal, Negosyo Center Business Counselors of DTI Laguna, served as the resource persons for the said seminar. The participants learned more about the requirements, usual terms and conditions, and tips on joining trade fairs. They were also briefed about the rights and responsibilities of consumers and how to handle usual customer complaints.
All CLDD seminars are free for all potential (no business yet) and existing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and cooperatives based in Calamba City.
