October 11, 2024 Candle Making (Students from Calamba Science School) —  On October 11, 2024, the CLDD Office organized a successful Candle Making Workshop for the students of Calamba Science School. The event was part of a hands-on learning experience aimed at developing students' creativity and practical skills. Students from various grade levels participated enthusiastically, learning the basics of candle making, including the process of molding, coloring, and scenting the candles. The workshop offered students a unique opportunity to engage in a fun, yet educational activity that encouraged creativity and craftsmanship .

The session was led by expert trainers from the CLDD Office, who provided step-by-step guidance on how to create beautiful and functional candles. The trainers emphasized the importance of safety, creativity, and attention to detail in the candle-making process. Participants were able to explore different techniques, such as layering colors and adding scents, allowing them to create personalized candles that reflected their individual style. Throughout the event, the trainers ensured that every student received the support they needed to complete their projects successfully.

The Candle Making Workshop was not only an enriching experience for the students, but it also served as an excellent example of how the CLDD Office continues to offer skill-building opportunities to local youth. With hands-on workshops like this, CLDD aims to empower students with practical skills that they can use both in their academic journey and beyond. The success of the workshop highlights the importance of continuing to offer such programs to foster creativity and skill development in the community.
