Calamba City marks the opening of the 2023 Cooperative Month

Calamba City, Laguna (October 2, 2023 ) — Cooperatives and Livelihood Development Department (CLDD) announced a series of activities in celebration of the Cooperative Month on Monday in front of the employees of the City Government of Calamba.
City Mayor Roseller H. Rizal along with Councilor Moises E. Morales delivered inspirational messages to the concessionaires and organizers of the Coop Month Trade Fair.
As a vehicle of economic change, cooperatives were assisted by the city government to promote their products through the weeklong trade fair. This activity also symbolized that CLDD had been fully supporting the nationwide initiative of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) with the theme, " Cooperatives: Pioneering the Path to Recovery amidst Modern Challenges of Climate Change and Food Security."
