CLDD holds the culmination program for #CoopMonth2023

October 24, 2023 (Chipeco Hall, Jose Rizal Memorial School, Calamba City, Laguna) — Cooperatives and Livelihood Development Department (CLDD) of the City Government of Calamba conducted the Culmination Program of the Cooperative Month Celebration.
Mayor Roseller H. Rizal and Vice Mayor Angelito Lazaro Jr. delivered inspirational messages to the cooperative sector, as well as the livelihood organizations, students and teachers, to sustain their invaluable contribution in the growing economy of Calamba City. The audience in attendance consists the winning parties in all the competitions conducted by CLDD.
CLDD highlighted the socioeconomic impact of the following cooperatives that earned first, second, and third places in the Natatanging Kooperatiba Contest (Large Category), respectively: Calamba Parish Development Cooperative, Commonwealth Credit Cooperative, and Sulong sa Tagumpay Multi-Purpose Cooperative.
This award is evidence of the various sectors and areas supported by the comprehensive and needs-responsive community development projects conducted by these cooperatives.
