Calamba MSMEs bag two Laguna Business Awards 2024

March 15, 2024 (Sta. Cruz Laguna) — Calamba's micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) took center stage at the recent Laguna Business Awards 2024, held during the Laguna Business Stakeholders Summit at the 2024 Anilag Festival.
Local business, Oryspa Spa Solutions, was recognized as the Best Medium Enterprise, showcasing the caliber and innovation of the City of Calamba's business sector. Ms. Sherill R. Quintana received the award as the proprietor and CEO of Oryspa.
The stakeholders summit also saw Ms. Aizel Capacete, owner of The Sifted Café, bag the prestigious Youth Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Her recognition highlights the potential and drive of young Calambeño entrepreneurs.
This achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of Calamba's MSMEs, contributing significantly to the economic growth of the city and the province of Laguna. The Provincial Government of Laguna and the Department of Trade and Industry Laguna likewise facilitated the promotion of local businesses and empowerment of their consumers during the March 10 to 17 run of the festival.
